We’re excited to introduce a suite of updates in TeamBoard TimePlanner designed to make resource management more intuitive and efficient. With these enhancements, navigating your planning process has never been easier. Here’s a look at what’s new:
Planning Details In The Right Panel For Better Task Visualization
In the previous version of our schedule board, viewing task details required hovering over tickets to see the tooltip, or navigating to the menu and opening the planning detail page to update the plan or check the history. Now, everything you need is conveniently accessible in one place. Just click on any task card to reveal all the relevant information in a dedicated right-side panel, making task management smoother than ever.

Details Panel: Easily view and manage all task specifics, adjust colors, and edit summaries directly on the card or within the detail view.

Plan Panel: Adjust plans, set up recurring tasks, mark tasks as billable, or add new plans—all from one convenient location.

History Panel: Keep track of task history, with a clear record of all changes for enhanced transparency. In this version, the history will only show specific changes instead of showing all assignees, hours, start and end dates as before. Additionally, the history now will also include the Billable and Client notes. This makes it easier for users to track specific changes, avoiding confusion among too many histories.
While we’ve refreshed the UI, we’ve kept the old tooltip available as an optional feature, which you can enable or disable in the view settings. Additionally, you can still access the menu by right-clicking on task cards, allowing current users to maintain their familiar workflow.
Easier Bulk Editing In The Schedule Board
Previously, selecting multiple task cards for bulk editing required holding and selecting multiple cards at once. Now, when you hover over a task card, you will be able to see a checkbox that allows you to select multiple cards more easily to perform actions like changing color, assigning more, or unplanning more easily. However, note that this feature only works for non-mapping projects, and will not work for recurring task cards.
Updated New UI For Timelog
Timelog’s updated interface introduces a few enhancements to improve user experience:
- The new issue box in the Time Log allows for easier organization with drag-and-drop functionality.
- Timelog now shows the total hours logged over a week.
- The timestamp of a work log entry will also be automatically recorded at the moment you log without manual adjustment as before.
Improvements For Better Experience
In this release, we have enhanced several features, improved performance, and fixed minor bugs to provide you with a smoother experience. Here are some of the new improvements:
1. Ability to Create Multiple Time Off Days
When the leave approval workflow setting is disabled, team members can now submit multiple time-off requests on the schedule board. This makes planning easier when they already have time-off plans.
2. Enhanced UI and Performance on the Time Log Page in Issue Details
In the Issue Details section, when opening TeamBoard TimePlanner to log work directly on a ticket, we’ve made some UI changes to display detailed log work information more intuitively, making it easier to track and adjust as needed.
3. New “All time” Option in the Time Range Filter
The new “All time” option has been added to the Time Range filter, it will show all work logs from the entire period. This is a small improvement, but particularly useful for users who want to view all-time data for analysis and assessment without selecting a custom time range.
